January is almost over, and I haven’t posted much. I guess after last month, this month seems rather mundane. Here are some highlights from the month:
- Hannah lost her two front teeth. She actually lost her first one in Germany and the Tooth Fairy visited with a gift of Euros. When we got home she found that her good friend Justin (he live across the street, and they are two weeks apart) had lost his as well. They are too cute!
- I joined Weight Watchers (again) with several of my friends. After two weeks, I have lost eight pounds. Yea me! It’s so much fun to do with a great group of friends, and with my competitive nature, it really helps to motivate me. I just can’t let myself have a bad weigh-in with all of my friends. I am a total dork, I know. I hesitate posting about this, because I don’t want to repeat what I did last year. But, like I said in my New Year’s post, I am committed to post the good, bad and the ugly.
- I helped to throw a baby shower for a friend of mine who had twin girls. The shower was a ton of fun and a great opportunity to teach myself how to make a diaper cake. I have always wanted to know how to make one, so after a few tutorials on YouTube, this is what I came up with.
- I had the opportunity to work on my photography skills with a good friend of mine. She has a new little guy, and wanted some new pictures of the kiddos. It was a little crazy to photograph four kids under the age of five, but I think I got some good stuff. Here is a little peak.
