Beef Stroganoff

Stroganoff

I have received several requests for my Slow-Cooker Beef Stroganoff recipe, so I thought I would share.  This is my husbands all-time favorite meal, and it is so EASY!!!

2 lbs. of Stew Beef

1 can of Cream of Mushroom Soup

1 can of Cream of Celery Soup

1 pkg. of Lipton Onion Soup Mix

2 cups of Sour Cream

Add beef, soups and  a 1/2 a cup of water to the slow cooker.  Mix together.  Cook on low for 8-10 hours.  Do not take the lid off the slow cooker!! Add sour cream right before serving.

You can put this on top of egg noodles, mashed potatoes or my favorite, rice.

Family Pictures

A huge thank you to Meghan Poort for the wonderful photo session last Saturday.  For anyone who is looking to have family pictures done, she is wonderful!!    Check out her website here.

Trunk-or-Treat

Last night was the annual Trunk-or-Treat for our ward.  This is always a fun and slightly weird evening.  It’s so fun to see those conservative people that you hang out with show up as their bizarre alter ego.  Once again Mike and I waited until the day of to come up with our disguises.  One of these years we should put some time and effort into our costumes.  The “A” for effort goes to Haley.  She decided that she wanted a creative costume, so she was a bag of Jelly Belly Jelly Beans.  Way to go Haley.  Mike was an injured hockey player, I was my favorite stand-by, a black cat, Hannah was Elphaba a.k.a the Wicked Witch of the West and Emily was a 50’s girl.  Here are a few pictures from the evening!

We had a great time at the PCC.  It is so cool to learn about other cultures.  That day was our 8th anniversary so it was an extra special day.

The next day we spent some good quality time with each other and good books on the most beautiful beach.  It’s a quiet little beach that is tucked away from most of the tourist areas and it is unbelievable.  While we were there, this cute Japanese couple walked out on the beach right in front of us and got married.  It was one of the quirky things that I love about traveling.
